Christmas Concert- 2 December 2017

Our annual Christmas concert took place on Saturday 2 December 2017 at the Lion Walk Church in Colchester.

Music and carols from around the world performed by the London Keld Ensemble and Soloists.

The programme included:

  • Bach Cantata 151  Aria, Komm suesser Trost)  and Schlafe mein Liebster from the Christmas Oratorio
  • Bach Orchestral Suite BWV1067 excerpts (String Quartet and Flute)
  • Pimlott Foundation Family Choir with Adey Grummet – World premiere and Traditional
  • Soloists; Daniela Bechly, Kayleigh McEvoy, Matthew Tomko, Codrutza Oros-Marsh  Compositions by Puccini, Holst and Martin
